McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHEALTH) is seeking a board certified Breast Imager for a faculty positon at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging.

McGovern Medical School primarily provides imaging services at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center and LBJ General Hospital in the Harris Health Hospital System. The Breast Imaging Section performs mammograms, breast ultrasound and MRI, Image-guided breast biopsies and wire localizations. The Breast Imaging section faculty perform a total of approximately 26,444 examinations and procedures per year. This position requires clinical patient care and teaching of our residents and medical students.

Applicants should have graduated from an ACGME-accredited Radiology residency program (or equivalent). Completion of fellowship training in Breast Imaging is also required. Candidates must be ABR certified or ABR eligible. Must have or be able to obtain a Texas Medical License.
