Description

Acadian Asset Management LLC is a Boston-headquartered investment management firm with wholly owned affiliates located in Singapore, London, and Sydney. As of September 30, 2021, the firm managed approximately US$113 billion on behalf of major pension funds, endowments, foundations, governments, and other investors based in the U.S. and abroad.

Position Overview:

The HR Business Partner will report to the Global Director of Human Resources and partner with leaders of the firm to help drive business strategy from an HR perspective. The role will focus on talent evaluation and management, performance management, learning and development, compensation, and employee relations.

The HR Business Partner will develop strong relationships with managers and employees to maximize the level and effectiveness of Acadian’s employees.  The culture of Acadian is team oriented and entrepreneurial, and the firm strives to hire individuals who are creative, technically competent and who want to add value to the firm’s evolving business strategy. The position will have a specific focus on organizational development and training by managing the design, sourcing, development, delivery and evaluation of professional development, learning and training programs. 

We expect this to be a hybrid role with about 3 days/week in our Boston office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain partnering relationships with managers and employees to effectively achieve business results.
  • Coach, consult and influence managers and employees on a variety of HR issues.
  • Develop a deep understanding of supported business functions to be able to translate their business plans into HR/people-oriented strategic and operational plans.
  • Lead initiatives to design and implement technology solutions to manage HR information.
  • Take an active role in team initiatives to help support and drive forward HR strategy for the firm.


Requirements

We’re Looking for Teammates With:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Approximately 7-10+ years of prior experience in a human resources generalist or business partner role; Financial services industry experience is preferred
  • Proactive team player who exhibits initiative, drive, and a strong service orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of people with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with all levels of management, locally and globally.
  • Creative, entrepreneurial performer who is results oriented and can add value to the business.
  • Ability to work independently and operate effectively amidst changing demands and priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, written and presentation skills; ability to listen to the needs of leaders and be a credible advisor.
  • Collaborative approach, soliciting input and feedback from many areas within Acadian.
  • Global perspective, understanding regional market differences and applying appropriate HR solutions.
