The jobholder is a strategic leader who drives innovation, ensures BIM adoption, and bridges the gap between technology and design. Their role is multidisciplinary, requiring expertise in BIM management, leadership, digital transformation, and stakeholder engagement.

S/He should stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in Digital delivery, representing the firm by sharing expertise and knowledge with team members.

• Provide coaching and train new BIM operators to facilitate their continuous development in drafting
• Support BIM employees, and provide technical guidance and direction with the interpretation and implementation of drawing specifications and requirements
• Ensure the satisfaction of clients with drafting deliverables

Key Responsibilities (Internal Business Process)

• Work closely with architects and engineers' technical leads to define the automation processes.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards.
• Collaborate with the team using Azure DevOps for version control, branch management, and code reviews.
• Manage the team coding task assignments, branch management, code reviews, continuous integration and deployment using version control solution like Azure DevOps.
• Create customized computational tools for parametric models and complex forms.
• Lead innovation by prioritizing new tools and refining workflows.
• Conduct unit, integration, and quality assurance testing to ensure reliability and functionality.
• Define and enforce robust testing standards across the developed tools.
• Review code for quality assurance, ensuring adherence to standards, including SOLID design principles.
• Coordinate tasks, mentor developers, and enforce coding standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to BIM Developers.
• Allocate tasks effectively, balancing team workload.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for BIM development aligned with organizational goals.
• Evaluate and implement innovations to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills in technical discussions.
• Share knowledge within the team by organizing sessions on best practices and encouraging cross-training.
• Design scalable and maintainable software architecture for large-scale BIM tools, adhering to SOLID principles.
• Ensures compliance with industry standards and project requirements
• Leads digital strategy for BIM computation and development
• Oversees automation processes and custom tool development
• Leads R&D for new computational BIM methodologies
• Defines best practices for BIM computation and automation
• Supports digital transformation efforts in the AEC industry
• Oversees implementation of enterprise-level BIM initiatives
• Ensures organizational alignment with global BIM standards

Qualification, Technical Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Engineering or a related field with experience in BIM;
• Understanding the overall BIM process and its phases (Design, Supervision, Construction, Operation);
• Knowledge of relevant BIM standards, guidelines, regulations and design codes (e.g., BIM Level 2, ISO 19650,..)
• Highly capable in BIM tools, including Autodesk product Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Dynamo, ACC, BIM360 and related software;
• Ability to work across multiple platforms and tools to ensure seamless integration;
• Excellent proficiency in English, as well as the local languages of the design center, both written and verbal. Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders;
• Excellent in team management and leadership skills;
• Strong tech support and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail;
• Experience with clash detection and resolution processes;
• Familiarity with parametric content creation and Dynamo is an advantage.

Specific Experience Required to Execute this Role

• 10-15 years of experience in the BIM field in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, and Planning Industry with a strong focus on architectural, engineering, and Infrastructure
