Job Summary The IS Project Manager manages activities and resources for medium to high complexity projects. Partners with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic business solutions through research, audit, and testing of data or business processes. Work covers a broad range of projects and focuses on improving and sustaining Baylor Scott & White Health's IT structures, processes, and outcomes. Ensures projects are completed on schedule, on budget, to scope, and within BSWH quality standards.
Essential Functions of the Role
• Runs day-to-day management of information services-related projects to completion by managing scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Develops and manages project plans and time/cost projections. Recommends and processes changes as appropriate. Identifies and allocates resources. Prioritizes tasks to ensure goals are met.
• Ensure project charter, work plan, and documentation are managed and updated to maintain accurate records.
• Manages project data and artifacts in the Project and Portfolio Management software tool and other defined standards.
• Partners with and manages stakeholders to maintain project scope, cost, schedule, and quality. Establishes project targets, parameters, budgets, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Identifies project and application dependencies and risks. Ensures mitigation and contingency plans are in place to increase project success.
• Facilitates meetings and documents meeting outputs (agenda, minutes, action items), while maintaining professional interactions with all relevant stakeholders.
• Informs all relevant stakeholders of key activities. Documents periodic progress reports summarizing project status, risks, required actions, and timelines.
• Ensures satisfactory transfer of control of project upon completion (handoff) and closes all project documentation and archives appropriate records.

• Knowledge of healthcare, information technology, and /or business operations.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Social skills to interact with a wide range of constituencies.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Ability to establish and clarify project targets, goals, parameters, budgets, deliverables, deadlines and the roles and responsibilities of participants.
• Ability to identify project and application dependencies/risks.
• Ability to develop mitigation/contingency plans.
• Ability to organize and manage resources.
• Ability to prepare and present periodic project progress reports.

Will require traveling to sites in North and Central Texas (~70%)
Qualifications
• EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
• EXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience
