Backed by experienced entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and a leading European private equity investor, the business is in a high-growth phase with a clear acquisition roadmap and strong entrepreneurial culture. To support its continued expansion, the company is seeking an ambitious M&A Manager to play a key role in executing and managing strategic acquisitions. What the job involves
As an M&A Manager, you will be a core member of the transaction team and support acquisitions throughout the entire deal lifecycle, from target identification and due diligence coordination through to signing, closing, and handover to the integration team.
You will work closely with the CEO, CFO, Chief Transformation Officer, and Head of M&A, taking ownership of key workstreams and transaction processes from an early stage.
- Lead and manage M&A transactions from initial target outreach through to closing
- Build, maintain, and enhance the acquisition pipeline using modern CRM and data management tools
- Conduct financial analysis, company valuations, financial modelling, and business case assessments for potential acquisition targets
- Support the structuring and negotiation of LOIs, purchase agreements, and earn-out mechanisms
- Independently manage financial and commercial due diligence processes and coordinate external legal and tax advisors
- Prepare investment committee materials, decision papers, management presentations, and transaction recommendations
- Support post-merger integration initiatives in close collaboration with operational teams and the Chief Transformation Officer
- Mentor and support junior team members and working students within the M&A function
- Multiple years of relevant professional experience within transaction services, deal advisory, valuation, M&A advisory, corporate development, private equity, or a related field
- Proven experience supporting or executing mid-market M&A transactions
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and deal structuring capabilities
- Ability to work independently in a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented manner
- High level of ownership, entrepreneurial mindset, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with entrepreneurs, advisors, investors, and senior stakeholders
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Based in Munich or willing to relocate
- Experience within is advantageous but not essential
