Three-year paid apprenticeship. Housing included. Run, manage, or open your own academy within three years.

Will Robins, creator of the PGA Modern Coach program, is offering a three-year paid apprenticeship for PGA professionals who want to run their own golf academy or become the Director of Instruction at a top-tier club within three years.

This apprenticeship teaches you results-based coaching, Will's proprietary training The Scoring Method, and the marketing and business skills you need to actually own and run an academy.

How to run a profitable and sustainable coaching academy.

How to build a sought-after brand in your area.

How to guarantee results for your students.

How to build a junior development program that takes a kid from summer camp all the way through the Path to College.

How to create player development programs for beginners, ladies, seniors and opportuninties like PGA Hope.

How to build a scalable business that gives you freedom of time, not just income.

Experience Required

Preferred candidate

• Wants to own their own academy or be the Director of Instruction at a high-end club or Manage a WRGolf Location within three years
• Wants to be part of a team that is partnered with the PGA of America to help revolutionize golf instruction worldwide
• Background in tournament golf
• Has either gone through the PGA program, is a PGA professional, or is 100% committed to going through the PGA certification program

Year 1: Coaching.

• WR Golf Summer Camps
• WR Golf year-round coaching
• Advanced junior coaching
• Run our WRGolf Junior Tour
• PGA Junior LEague
• Ladies' clinics
• Beginner clinics
• The Scoring Method
• On-course coaching
• Private lessons
• Indoor coaching

Year 2: Managing our team of coaches in each of these areas, and developing sales skills.

Year 3: Managing the day-to-day operations of the business, and working with Will and Jared to find your location and launch your own academy.

• Housing included. Live rent free.
• Year-round salary with performance bonuses
• Additional $2,000/year bonus if you're a PGA professional. If not, we pay for your PGA certification over the three years.
• PGA dues paid
• Stipen yearly for additonal training (Such as TPI)
• One weeks paid vacation
• Week Off Christmas through New Year's
• 5 Days Off for Thanksgiving
• Memorial Day, July 4th & Labour Day Off
• One week paid trip to Bandon Dunes yearly
• Access to golf courses and practice facilities
• Direct mentorship from Will Robins and Jared Butts, PGA
