Our client is looking for a Payroll Officer to join the team on a full-time basis.
Your new role

• End-to-end accountability for payroll delivery across multiple sites
• Supervising and developing a dedicated payroll team
• Interpreting awards and agreements to ensure correct employee entitlements
• Reviewing and improving payroll workflows and controls where required
• Partnering with internal teams to resolve payroll matters and drive best practice
• Managing reconciliations, reporting, and compliance obligations
• Supporting payroll-related projects

What you'll need to succeed

• A track record of leading payroll functions in medium to large organisations
• Sound knowledge of Australian payroll requirements, including awards and EBAs
• Confidence in managing high-volume payroll with multiple pay conditions
• Proven ability to lead, coach and support team members
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
